Through Forerunners Healthcare I was able to obtain answers to all of my questions and schedule the "Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery". I found the response from Forerunners both before and after the surgery, to be exceptional and better than I expected. I found the Hospital in New Delhi, India to comparable or better than any hospital I've ever visited in the United States. I was most impressed by knowledge and availability of the Physicians. While in India, I had the personal cell phone number of my Surgeon - Dr. Deep Goel ( no Dr. in America would ever do this ).
This man - Dr. Goel, personally came and visited me in my hotel prior to surgery, during which time we shared a cup of tea while he answered all of last questions and made me feel assured everything was going to be ok. He invited me to a party, the he and friends were hosting, to better enable me see & meet the gracious people of India. I am a very finicky patient, and while in a hospital I would imagine myself at times to be difficult to satisfy. However, Dr. Goel, went above and beyond my expectations during surgery, and he came and visited every single day I was in the hospital ( and I even personally extended my hospital stay for a few days - as opposed to staying in a guest house ). Since my surgery less than three months ago, my weight has fallen from 290lbs to less than 215lbs, and I can assure anyone who cares to read this, that I am far less than what one would call a compliant patient.
I would recommend Forerunners to anyone considering surgery and I can personally attest to the fact that your in excellent hands while your at Artemis Health Sciences Hospital & under the care of Dr. Goel & staff - to many to mention personally - Anup Kumar Handa - every hospital should hope to have such a competent Executive - International Sales Support.

After gall bladder surgery by Laproscopy in Oct. 2008 I had been experiencing itching and uneasiness in the stomach. I could not stand the smell of food and did not like its taste. After LFT and MRCP tests I was diagnosed with CBD stricture post Laproscopic cholecystectomy, which required surgery. My search for a good surgeon/hospital that could alleviate my suffering and at the same time give me confidence in the medical profession led me to Artemis Health Institute where I met Dr. Deep Goel, Head- Department of Surgical Specialities & Centre for Minimal Invasive Bariatric & Gastrointestinal Surgery. He not only gave me immense confidence because of his professionalism but also an alternative to open surgery i.e. Laproscopy for Hepaticojejunostomy, which I believe no other doctor is doing.
Dr. Deep Goel came across as a very amiable and confident person. I instantly developed a bond with him which is tremendously important for a patient. Dr. Goel is very pleasant and approachable and has an excellent team of doctors to take care of the patients.
